Auckland Anniversary Weekend 30 January - 1 February 2016
The Optimist Auckland NZIODA Championship will be hosted by Maraetai Sailing Club from Saturday 30th January to Sunday 1st February 2016. The regatta also includes the Auckland Champs for the Starling, P-Class and Rs Feva classes, promising a great weekend of sailing with approx. 240 boats expected.
The Championship is for Open and Green Optimist fleets, with the Open fleet competition being the second NZIODA ranking regatta of the season.

Entries are open for the Optimist Class at this ISAF World Cup Regatta. This year Melbourne is hosting the inaugural Nations Cup and the Victorian Optimist Association has sent the invitation through to all NZ optimist sailors. Racing is from the 10th - 13th December. This is an open regatta so all are welcome.
13th - 15th November 2015
The Optimist North Island Optimist NZIODA Championship will be held in Napier from Friday 13th November to Sunday 15th November. Hosted by the Napier Sailing Club, the weekend includes a Starling Regatta and promises to be an event for the whole family.
March 7-9
The 2015 Victorian Opti Championships are drawing near, being held over the weekend of March 7-9.
It’s shaping up to be a great event with more than 150 competitors expected across Open, Intermediate and Green Fleets.
This year’s host is Royal Brighton Yacht Club and they’re committed to making this the best Opti State Championships yet!
Charters are available for interstate and overseas visitors.

Nelson Yacht Club is proud to be hosting the 2015 Optimist South Island Championships. This is a three day regatta for the Optimist Open fleet and a two day regatta for the Optimist Green fleet. The Optimist Open Fleet regatta is an NZIODA ranking regatta.

We are very pleased to announce III.Bodrum International Optimist Regatta (TYF-BIOR) the date of 3-8 March 2015 in Bodrum Sailing Club. The Regatta is part of IODA 2015 Calendar and Turkish Sailing Federation 2015 Calendar. This year BIOR will be the TURKISH NATIONALS. All Turkish Optimist Sailors will take part the regatta.

The Worser Bay Boating Club, in association with the New Zealand Optimist Dinghy Association and Toyota New Zealand, is proud to announce that the 2015 Toyota NZ Optimist National Championships will take place in Wellington from Thursday second to Tuesday 7th April 2015.
Planning is well underway, with a team of organisers putting in place all the preparations required to make sure sailors and visitors to Wellington have a great event.
