Sir Peter Blake Torbay Regatta

6th - 7th December 2014

Last Chance to Register

Just a reminder that online registrations for this years regatta close tonight.  This early closing is to allow time to process the huge number of entries. Late entries are at the discretion of the race committee and will incur a penalty fee.

If you know friends who may not have entered yet make sure you remind them of the early closing.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

The 2014 sailing Instructions and race courses are now posted on the Blake Regatta website under documentation. We encourage you to print them out and bring them along. We recommend laminating the race course as a great option.

BOAT DROP OFF

Both yachts and RIBs can be dropped anytime Friday before event. On-site security is in place Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. We will have a full tide so early launching is essential. This year tags will be used to match boats with trailers on patrol boats so we need boats early to apply these tags.

TRAILERS CAN BE LEFT IN RESERVE BEHIND THE CLUB.

RIBS TO BE LEFT ANGLE PARKED IN FRONT OF CLUB.

YACHTS TO BE LEFT ON BEACH FRONT RESERVE.

Subway Lunches

Those who order lunches need to liaise with your club coordinator as all orders are to be collected from the Torbay Clubroom and distributed on the race courses using your own club boats. If you don't have a club boat attending please advise us at registration so Torbay can assist.

Parking & Shuttles

As per previous years, parking and drop off is a one way system passing beside the clubhouse from Beach Rd. Enter by passing through the controlled entry beside the beach. Drop your boat, trailers, people and gear in the reserve, then park either on the road OR in the upper car park on Deep Creek Road. From there it is an easy walk down the hill or catch a VOLVO CARS shuttle from outside the car park. Allow plenty of time as there is plenty going on!

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO DROP GEAR OR YACHTS AT THE BEACH
