EARLY ENTRY DRAW 2015
AS AN INCENTIVE TO ENTER EARLY we have some great early entry prizes from GOPRO New Zealand, Skull Candy and Optimum Time.
All registrations received prior to November 15 will go in the draw for a brand new GOPRO HERO LCD2 Camera, Skull Candy Grind headphones or an Optimum Time Race Watch. What better way to start the summer!
Early entry prizes will be drawn out of a hat and awarded at the opening ceremony.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 2014 REGATTA
- An amazing number of sailors – over 420 attended making it one of the biggest regattas in the Southern Hemisphere.
- An amazing number of yacht classes - over 17 competed.
- Sailing next to big names of racing. In the 2014 event, none other than Peter Burling, Blair Tuke and Dean Barker were sailing in this regatta alongside, first timers under the age of 10.
- A great vibe, a beach marquee full of people, a small bay full of boats.
- Great prizes.
- Oh and fantastic sailing in big, big fleets! Even the new to sailing Green Fleet has big numbers.
A GREAT LINE UP FOR 2015
Already 2015 is shaping up to be awesome. Latest news is that New Zealand's newest and fastest inshore yacht will be making an appearance. The brand new 4 man Foiling Cat from Team Vodafone Sailing as used in the Global Extreme Series of Racing is expected to sail around the courses. Lets hope the conditions are suitable to allow these guys to showcase where the latest generation of sailing is at on the world scene.
