Auckland Anniversary Weekend 30 January - 1 February 2016

The Optimist Auckland NZIODA Championship will be hosted by Maraetai Sailing Club from Saturday 30th January to Sunday 1st February 2016. The regatta also includes the Auckland Champs for the Starling, P-Class and Rs Feva classes, promising a great weekend of sailing with approx. 240 boats expected.
The Championship is for Open and Green Optimist fleets, with the Open fleet competition being the second NZIODA ranking regatta of the season.
Both the Open and Green fleets will sail a three day regatta, starting on Saturday 30th January and finishing on Monday 1st February 2016.
Racing on the Monday will form the official Ports of Auckland, Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta event for all 4 classes. All sailors are automatically entered into the Anniversary Day event. Results will be forwarded to the Ports of Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta 2016 Organising Committee for a separate prize giving. Details can be found on their website http://www.regatta.org.nz/

Normal entries close on Sunday 24th January 2016.
Late entries, accompanied by an additional late entry fee of $50, may be accepted at the Race Committees discretion until 1700 hours on Thursday 28th January. No entries will be accepted after this date.
