We are about 3 weeks out from the deadline for Yachting entrants for the school 2018 AIMS GAMES this September in Tauranga. These games are for Year 7 & 8 (intermediate aged) students sailing Optimist class boats.

You may have sailors at your club that participated in the games last year or who might be eligible to enter this year. Please encourage these sailors to get in touch with their Schools Sports Co-ordinators about entry as the School has to enter the sailors.
A reminder has been sent to the schools who entered last year to help encourage them to liaise with the student sailors as well. But we need help to spread the word to other schools where student sailors attend.
The online entries close on Wednesday 13th June 2018.
The student sailor eligibility criteria is around the experience the sailor has as this is a winter regatta in some tough conditions, so racing experience is required.
